Die neuen Hybrid-Rieselfilm-Verdampfer der Bitzer SE, Sindelfingen, soll es in fünf Leistungsklassen von 300 bis 2.000 kW geben. Sie wurden für die Kältemittel R134a (GWP 1.430), R1234ze (GWP 7) und R513A (GWP 632) entwickelt. Aufgrund ihrer „speziellen Konstruktion“ mit interner Abscheidung von Flüssigkeitströpfchen und verbesserter Ölrückführung gewährleisten sie laut Hersteller auch unter Teillastbedingungen einen stabilen Betrieb und benötigen mindestens 35 % weniger Kältemittel als geflutete Verdampfer.
